Prevention Is Better Than Cure

Tips For You To Stay On Your Program Successfully This Christmas

The Christmas season is here again, with it's giddy round  of luncheons, dinners, "limes" and family gatherings. Unfortunately, the delicious Christmas food and drink can be an irresistible source of temptation to those who want to eat healthily. That's why Natural Living Center have formulated a 'Prevention Is  Better Than Cure - Tips To Help You Stay Successfully On Your Program This Christmas Month" as a guideline to you, our clients, to guide you safely across the "landmines" of holiday eating and drinking. And I believe that other readers will be helped by this information also.

This week we will start with the basics, those instructions that our Health Practitioners give to you when you first start the programme. Today's tip reminds you to replenish your formulas. These are the main part of the treatment, for they are the main detoxifiers. So make sure that you have enough formulas to last you until January. Remember, if you get the basics wrong, you won't stay on the program for long. But if you get the basics right, your future will be healthy and bright!

Please note that we will be closing on Friday, December 18, 2015 and will re-opening on Monday, January 4, 2015. For more information, please call 623-8209 or 692-7097.

6 REASONS YOU SHOULD EAT LOCAL FRUITS

There’s been a lot of talk by the Government about food security, about the necessity for this twin-island republic to decrease significantly its importation of food from other countries. The thrust of this Food Security Initiative is to develop and sell our own food products regionally and internationally. The citizenry were also encouraged to grow their own food.

This is a very good idea. So good that I “kidnapped” it, and built on it . If you have been logging onto our Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/naturallivingcenter/, you would see that our Tips of The Day have been focusing on the nutritional values and health benefits of our local fruits. Here’s 6 reasons why you should eat local fruits.

6 Reasons You Should Eat Local Fruit

1It’s Available
Fruits are easy to get; you can get from a neighbor, friend or family member. Some of us even have some sort  of fruit tree in our yards. If not , we can go to the Market or Supermarket and pick up some fruits in bulk.  Foreign fruits are not so readily obtainable in large quantities, for a reasonable price.

2. It’s Fresher
As I've said before, fruit trees and fruit vendors are all around us. All we have to do is ask; pick for ourselves or buy. Whereas foreign fruit comes packaged or canned with lots of Excitotoxins.

3. It’s Cheaper
In terms of quantity, you can get local fruit for free or in bulk at a reasonable price, but you get less foreign fruit for more money.

4. There’s More Variety
Different fruits bear at different times of the year, and some fruits have many different varieties. For example, there are Starch, Vere, Calabash and Julie mangoes to name a few, and Grameshell and Lacatan bananas.  We only get some kinds of fruits from other countries and not as much varieties are available.

5. Similar or Nutritional Values to the Imported Fruits

6. Remember “Old Time” Fruits
In this age of the Internet and fast foods, this generation’s children seem to have lost some of the simple pleasures that adults over 50 years took for granted, like playing moral and reading classics like A Tale of Two Cities the original. Also many of them are not familiar with eating fruit like penny piece, star apple, sapodilla, gru-gru bef, gri-gri, and stinking toe. Eating local fruits will not only encourage us to look for these local “exotic” fruit, but it may also  motivate us to  plant them in our backyards. What a wonderful legacy for our children , grandchildren and maybe even our great-grandchildren, if Jesus tarries.

No One Has to be Sick

I see so many people on a daily basis with differing ailments. Whether it is the number one killer in the world (High Blood Pressure), to Cancer all the way back to the common cold. This is so needless. All you need is a little education on the way your body actually works, your willingness to follow the basic principles that the Lord has put here for humans and you will be well on your way, to a healthier lifestyle.

At Natural Living Center we teach you everything that you need to know about your body and what to put into it. When you wake up in the morning, your body is still going through the elimination process, that is why you want to go to the toilet first thing. You have bad breath and for some people there is mucus in your eyes. You are not doing that on your own, your body is doing it. It is eliminating wastes, from previous days.

When we eat anything that is NOT fruit (raw) or fruit or vegetable juices, we stop that process for the next 24 hours and we back up our systems even more. But guess what, we also snack during the morning, then there is lunch, snack during the afternoon and of course there is dinner.

For millions of people this is how they live their lives daily and it is the number one reason for illnesses. Elimination is key to good health. I am not speaking about a purge here, no. I am speaking about complete and effective detoxification of your body. It goes beyond just your Colon. Why? There are three sets of wastes in your body. There are digestive wastes from what you eat on a daily basis; there are cellular wastes also from what you eat daily (they are living and eat what we eat) and finally there are parasitic wastes ( they live and thrive in anyone that eats animal products).

These areas must be cleaned out first before you see any kind of healing in your body. Have a blessed and wonderful day.
